Bobby Worrest éS Timeline Interview

List the five most memorable things that happened to you during any éS tours, demos, filming missions, photo shoots, etc.

  1. Being on tour with Koston, Penny and PJ.
  2. Getting robbed in Peru.
  3. Getting to travel the globe.
  4. Getting to hang with the best skaters in the world.
  5. Watching Javier and Rodrigo do switch hardflips easily for the past few years and me still not able to do them.

Which was your favorite part in Menikmati? Why? Every part was my favorite. Everyone was ahead of their time, and it was the best video--even for years after.

How many éS pro model shoes have you had? 1.2

Which one is your favorite? Why? The First Blood. The other was a Square One colorway. It was an actual pro shoe and it skated amazing.

Which was the ugliest éS shoe of all time? One of those weird ones.

Which was the worst-skating éS shoe of all time? One of those weird ones.

Name your five favorite éS shoes ever from over the years--not including your pro models--and give reasons why.

  1. Koston 1, because it looked cool and skated great when I was in fifth grade.
  2. Accel, because it was the most basic shoe at that time.
  3. Square 1, because it was éS' first vulcanized shoe that replicated the Accel.
  4. I skated the first Rodrigo Tx. shoes for a while. They were comfy. The theory was good, too.

Which annual éS ad campaign is your favorite? Why? Hmmm, the skating ones. But the portraits are good, too, because they stand out.

What goes through your mind when you see a huge shop display with billboards featuring photos of you or cardboard cutouts of yourself? It's cool, I guess.

In general, how does éS seem different now in 2010 compared to the year 2000? Entirely new lineup. The ams are amazing. There weren't ams in 2000. Or maybe there was. I dunno.

In what direction should éS head in the future? The right direction.
